Messages for Car Drivers...

  • Make safe lane changes – look for the truck's headlights in your rear view mirror before you pull over.
  • Watch the NO ZONE – stay away from blind spots.
  • Be attentive – keep your focus on the road and the drivers around you.
  • Be patient. Get there safely – slow down. Don't try to squeeze between trucks.
  • Never drink and drive.
  • Always buckle up – it's the law.
  • In minor, non-injury collisions – pull over at the nearest exit to exchange driver/insurance information.
  • Be attentive and drive carefully in work zones – expect the unexpected.
  • Don't drive drowsy; an alert driver is a safe driver.

  • Don't drive drowsy – get plenty of sleep, eat well and watch your hours. An alert driver is a safe driver.
  • Maintain a safe vehicle – inspect your vehicle before each trip and check your brakes regularly.
