Northern Division

 The Northern Division Recruitment Team will be hosting dispatch applicant seminars. These seminars are a great opportunity for potential applicants to learn more about what it takes to become a California Highway Patrol Public Safety Dispatcher. Seminars will have recruiters and dispatch supervisors presenting information about different aspects of a career with the CHP. Seminar topics include but are not limited to: the application process, life as a public safety dispatcher, a typical day as a public safety dispatcher, and many more. Following the presentation, attendees are encouraged to ask questions about a career with the CHP.

Valley Division

The Valley Division Recruitment Team will be hosting dispatch applicant seminars. These seminars are a great opportunity for potential applicants to learn more about what it takes to become a California Highway Patrol Public Safety Dispatcher. Seminars will have recruiters and dispatch supervisors presenting information about different aspects of a career with the CHP. Golden Gate Division

CHP - Golden Gate Division serves as the CHP Command Center for the nine Bay Area counties, providing the highest level of Safety, Service, and Security to over 7 million people. Our division is comprised of twelve Area Offices, three Commercial Vehicle Inspection Facilities, one Communications Center, and an Air Operations unit. Each Golden Gate Division Area office and inspection facility was strategically placed to provide the best and most efficient service from the dedicated members of the CHP.

The CHP - Golden Gate Division Communication Center Recruitment Team will be hosting Public Safety Dispatcher (PSD) Recruitment Seminars to increase awareness, set appropriate expectations, and provide potential applicants with valuable information. Our recruitment seminars will address the application process, discuss life as a public safety dispatcher, provide insight into what exactly a PSD does on the operations floor, and offer perspectives from Dispatch Supervisors and CHP Officers. Each seminar will also include a question-and-answer session and tour of our newly renovated Communications Center Operations Floor.

     

 

 

Central Division

The Central Division Recruitment Team will be hosting dispatch applicant seminars. Seminar topics include but are not limited to: the application process, life as a public safety dispatcher, a typical day as a public safety dispatcher, and many more. Following the presentation, attendees are encouraged to ask questions about a career with the CHP.
