The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Redding Communications Center (RCC) is in the heart of Shasta County at the Redding CHP Area office. RCC provides safety, service and security to residents and visitors to the region each day by providing critical radio communications and cellular 911 emergency services. RCC coordinates law enforcement service and quick response to all the communities we serve through the Redding, Red Bluff, and Trinity River Area offices. RCC operates 24 hours a day and can provide road information, traffic updates and general information to assist the motoring public have a safe and secure driving experience.
