The Orange County Communications Center receives wireless 9-1-1 telephone calls from citizens traveling the highways of Orange County, as well as non-emergency calls from throughout the county. We are also responsible for radio communications with the Westminster, Santa Ana, and Capistrano Areas, the Katella Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility, Orange County Auto Theft Task Force, Metropolitan Air Operations, and the Peralta Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility. We serve a large and diverse community in Orange County, covering 945 square miles and a population of more than three million (the third most populous county in the state).
