Located within the Inland Empire Transportation Management Center in Fontana, California, the California Highway Patrol Inland Communications Center proudly serves the greater Inland Empire of Southern California. Inland Communications Center, also known as ICC, is the fourth largest CHP communications center with a complement of nearly 70 employees including 56 Public Safety Dispatchers. ICC serves the citizens of one of the fastest expanding areas of California answering approximately 55,000 calls for service each month.
Working directly with Caltrans Traffic Management, ICC is an integral component in keeping our freeways and highways safe and flowing freely. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring friendly, professional service to those we serve. If you dial 9-1-1 on your cellular telephone to report an emergency on an Inland Empire freeway, you’ll likely be speaking with one of our dispatchers. You can greatly assist our dispatchers by being prepared to provide an accurate location and nature of the problem you are reporting.
