The Oakland CHP office is proud to serve the cities of Oakland, Berkeley, Piedmont, Emeryville, Albany, El Cerrito and Richmond by providing safety, service and security. As part of the CHP’s Golden Gate Division, our office is located near the SR-24 and I-580 junction in Oakland. We offer a number of programs aimed at keeping you safe on the road and highway. Car seat inspections, VIN inspections and teen driver classes are offered by appointment and traffic citations can be signed off without appointments.
