The Cottonwood Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Facility is located on Northbound Interstate 5 in Cottonwood, California,
approximately two hours north of Sacramento. We are dedicated to increasing the safety of the commercial vehicle population through driver and vehicle inspections. The facility is staffed by CHP officers trained in Commercial Enforcement, and civilian Commercial Vehicle Inspection Specialists. In addition to performing safety inspections on commercial vehicles, several officers are certified in child passenger seat installations and available 24/7 to assist the public.
