Colusa County is approximately 1,151 square miles and is predominately a farming community with a population of approximately 21,000 residents. The Williams Area has primary traffic jurisdiction and is responsible for patrolling over 800 miles of roadway within Colusa County, which also includes Interstate I-5, State Route-20, State Route-45, State Route-16, and all unincorporated roadways.
